Beautiful Space Pirates In: "The Galaxy's Most Dangerous Funeral!"

You are a beautiful space pirate. Terrible and wonderful news: You are attending the funeral of the Great Space Pirate Balthazar Germaine. And he's written you into his will! You and your friends, who are all also in his will, rub shoulders with the galaxy's most devil-may-care scoundrels (who all also happen to be mentioned in the will) and prepare for his spectacular send-off.

If this shows up correctly its the basic character creation instructions. You need a name and some basic idea of who your character is. For the stats, I'm interpreting it to mean that you need to pick which stat you want to have which die (D6, D8 or D10) and then roll each die to determine the stats. I'm mostly posting this now so that you to have the two lists of special abilities and can start thinking about them. As you can see, none of the character creation should take very long.

One thing I do need from each of you is the result of two D12 rolls. If you could do that and post your results (two different numbers) that'll give me a little more to get started with.

Drake Bellamy

Drake is a big, tough pirate who is very good at doing the heavy work on the ship. Of course, he's more than happy to rumble when it's time to fight. When it's not time to work, he can usually be found working out, clanging and banging. He also loves a good brew as well. He has bulging muscles and, like most Kuryans, he has red skin and naturally paper-white hair. His father was the head of an asteroid mining outfit. Two months into his attempt to follow in his father's footsteps, he got into a barfight with some idiot and the idiot ended up dead. Drake fled and stumbled into the pirate life. By the time that his father had cleared things up back home, Drake found that he enjoyed the pirate life better.

Cassiopeia Flynn may be the last surviving member of her race. Astarte, a lone vessel of Murrimen fled the embattled Luxian Sector, and was set upon by the pirate ship Reaver. The crew of the Astarte fought to the last man, but was already in poor shape from previous battles, and the ship was taken.

It wasn’t until days later that the crew found young Cassiopeia hidden in the GNDN tubes, and, mellowed by their recent victory, they spared her life and made her a mascot. She barely remembers her life amongst her own folks, and has almost forgiven the crew who became her adoptive family (it’s complicated)

Opal Sea-Wolf

Wild black curls that she keeps in a messy bun because loose hair doesn't work well while tinkering with the engines.
When she's out drinking and dancing she ties opals and crystals into her hair. She keeps a laserwelder in a holster on her at all times and cargo pants with pockets full of emergency sonic screwdrivers and duct tape and several hard candies. Not afraid to defend herself from drunken louts and handsy stationlubbers. Likes to make friends with the crew AND the ship.

Akilah Latif was a princess in her homeland, but she fled from there to avoid an arranged marriage. She still wears the symbol of home, a gold fleur de lis, on her coat. She loves being the center of attention and performing. If given the chance, she will always choose to don a tiara on her red hair.

Cantabrius Lynx

The only man to escape the Altairian Civil War with a profit, Cantabrius Lynx has been cruising the galaxy in his "obtained" (stolen) ship, the Seagram 7, ever since. He's left more than one heartbroken lass in more than one spaceport along the way. He enjoys the finer things in life, tidy profits, and eluding the wave motion guns of the Void Space Navy, and is almost as skilled with a vibro-cutlass as he is running away from people who have them. Oh, and mustache wax.

Alternate character

To keep my rep of overly enthusiastic character concepts and (mostly) to come up with a character who will wear the same creepy eyepatch I’m posting a second concept. I’ll come back and edit for stat rolls...

Zytkow Thorne

Zytkow is a mass of muscle and sinew, covered in deep reddish brown plates. It (the race is evidently not sexually differentiated, their representative mechanism is shrouded in mystery) is mostly humanoid in form, with a powerful tail. Zytkow has one cyberneticly enhanced eye.
