I have discovered the greatest site for fantasy casting which will help with organizing the cast of characters for these movie pitches. I have not loaded all of my stories up yet but I have started.

What is this "Legion M" thing they're promoting? A fan-owned production company? Sounds fraught...

Looks like a crowd-funded movie development group. Seems strange but I'd like to see if anything good comes out of it.

The five stories they have posted sound interesting. They are getting a lot of buzz in the media apparently and have made deals with legit professionals.

Gotham City.

Police Department - Interior

Kate Kane is let out of the back of an unmarked police car. There are a few photographers and journalists shouting questions as Kate is escorted into the GCPD building. She spots Renee Montoya and gives her a confused look but Renee can only shrug.

Blackgate Prison - Interior

A cloaked and masked figure cuts her way out of a shipping container. She scrambles out into the open and starts sneaking through the halls. We see a lot of guards nearly spot her but she slips by undetected.

Police Department - Interior

Kate is set down in front of a special investigator. We see Renee sneak into the crowded observation room. Kate is asked a series of introductory questions. Kate stresses that she works for her cousin at Wayne Enterprise. As if on cue, the Wayne attorney shows up. Kate’s hands are swabbed and she is asked where she was that morning. Kate gives her alibi. She is asked if she ever goes to Blackgate Prison. Kate briefly flashes back to dropping off The Riddler at Blackgate as Batwoman. Kate Kane has no reason to go near Blackgate.

Blackgate Prison - Interior

The hooded figure continues to navigate Blackgate. She stops to consult a directory in a guard station where we see many shoutouts to Bat Family and DC Comics villains.

Police Department - Interior

Kate’s alibi checks out and her swabs came back negative for explosive residue. This perks Kate’s interest. It turns out a close match on her DNA was found at the scene of a breakout at Blackgate. The margin of error was thin enough that it could have been Kate. When Kate’s attorney objects to this, the investigator brings up Kate’s military service record. She had the physical ability and the skill set.

Blackgate Prison - Interior

The hooded figure locates the Royal Flush Gang. She is surprised by three guards who she fights off. She places shaped charges as she does.

Police Department - Interior

Kate asks where the DNA was found. The investigator is not at liberty to disclose facts from an ongoing case.

Blackgate Prison - Interior

Cut to the hooded figure licking a sticker of a white rabbit and sticking it to the wall. She blows open the cells with a remote. “The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things.” The hooded figure drives off from Blackgate with the crooks in tow.

Police Department - Interior

The investigator mentions that the quickest way to get Kate off the hook is to find the real culprit. Kate mentions that she had a twin sister. Beth Kane was declared dead ten years prior. Kate’s father Jacob Kane always thought Beth might be somewhere out there but Kate never bought into that theory. Kate is released but asked not to leave town. They don’t seem to believe that Beth is alive.

Police Department - Exterior

Renee confronts Kate outside of the station. Renee asks about her sister and Kate resents that Renee found out that way. The two have only been dating for a little while but their bond has been strong. Renee cannot help her on the inside as she has had to recuse herself. Kate says she does not want any special treatment. She will handle this on her own. Renee protests as Kate walks off.

Gotham City - Exterior and Interior

Kate pulls out a tablet and hacks in and views the footage. She then travels to her family’s storage unit. She pulls out a box of Beth’s stuff and pulls out a well-read copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Follow the white rabbit, indeed. Kate leaves a message with Bruce to check-in. She thinks about who else she can talk to. She suits up as Batwoman and rolls out on her motorcycle.

Royal Flush Hideout - Interior

We get our first full view of Alice as the camera zooms out on her smiling face. We cut to the faces of King, Queen, Jack, Ace, and 10 in turn as they watch Alice warily. The silence becomes uncomfortable and they wonder if Alice has a point. Alice says she lost her crew in a nasty breakup so she decided to get a new one. She talks the four into trusting her with making plans. She has a lot of plans.

Harleen Quinzel’s Office - Exterior

Harleen Quinzel locks her office up and starts toward her car. Without turning, she calls out Batwoman. She has enough experience with bats to know when one is sneaking around. Harley holds no ill will, she gave as good as she got. Batwoman asks about Alice. Harley swears that she is out of the game and that the only criminals she talks to are her patients, whom she will protect. She and Ivy are out of the game. Batwoman notes that the bats know about her recent clash with the Toyman pretender and mentions the Joker’s Daughter.

Harley gives in and gives her the rundown on the breakup of the Wonderland Gang, insinuating that one of them is reformed and her patient. Mad Hatter got all of the press but Alice was the real force behind the gang. They broke up for some reason which might cause Alice to focus on the past. Batwoman asks what could have caused a normal person to become a criminal. Harley says she would have to talk with Alice before making any assumptions. Batwoman says she will try to make that happen. Harley says that Batwoman could benefit from being on her couch. Batwoman shrugs that off.

A car pulls up and the window rolls down revealing the green-skinned visage of Dr. Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy. Ivy lowers her shades and asks ”Can I help you?”. Batwoman says there is no problem and Harley climbs into Ivy’s car and the two drive away.

Kate Kane Residence - Interior

Kate is almost out of her costume at home when the doorbell rings. She rushes to the door and is surprised to see Renee there with takeout. Renee asks why Kate is out of breath and Kate says that she was just working out. Renee tells her to relax, she knows that Kate is Batwoman. Kate is surprised but Renee points out that not only are they dating, Renee is a first-class police detective. She also knows that Kate would not instigate a breakout at Blackgate. Renee has taken a leave of absence and is ready to help Kate figure this out.

Gotham City Bypass - Exterior/Night

An armored car is making a night run with several cars escorting them. The drivers are nervous, wishing they could have done this in the daytime but this is a highly classified delivery which is technology created by McCulloch Industries. Alice and the Royal Flush gang attack with King, Queen, Jack, and Ace taking out the support cars with finesse and gadgets. This leaves 10 to rip open the back of the truck, allowing Alice to climb aboard to unload the tech. Alice and 10 climb back into one of the trucks and they drive away.

Batwoman suddenly appears in their rearview mirror. Alice smiles and tells the gang to deal with their bat problem. Batwoman is on comms with Renee who is chewing her out for going to Harley Quinn of all people for help before her. Not the time for that argument. Batwoman dodges attacks from the two cars and correctly assumes that the leader will be in the bigger truck. She puts the bike in autopilot and jumps aboard the truck. 10 climbs out of the cab and the behemoth does battle with Batwoman. Batwoman momentarily gets 10 incapacitated and looks in the back window of the truck cab. Alice looks back at her. Kate: “Beth?” Alice peers at her for a moment. Alice: “Curiouser and curiouser!’ and then she shakes the truck, allowing 10 to get the upper hand and clothesline Batwoman off of the truck.

Kate is surrounded by the Royal Flush Gang who proceed to overwhelm her. They beat her down, getting very close to taking her out. A gunshot rings out and distracts the gang and when they look back, Batwoman has disappeared. The audience catches up to her clinging to the motorcycle as she gets away. The crooks load up and drive away as sirens are heard in the distance.

Kate Kane Residence - Interior

Kate slams her fist into the wall, furious that she let Alice escape. Renee tries to comfort her but Kate reiterates that this is her sister. She saw into Alice’s eyes and she is more sure of it than ever. And yet if it is her sister, she did not seem to respond to her name. Renee says that it could be her and she has been Alice too long or it might not be her. Nothing else makes sense to Kate but for it to be Beth. If it is Beth, what does that mean? Kate abandoned her sister for years. What does that make her?

Royal Flush Hideout - Interior

The Royal Flush Gang is in high spirits when they return to their hideout. They sing Alice’s praises. On their first job, they nearly killed Batwoman. Alice berates them for failing to kill Batwoman but when she turns away she has a mischievous grin on her face. They ask who they are selling the tech to but Alice says they need it. It is only the first step of their plan. That takes some of the wind out of their sails but they are excited to see what is next.

Kate Kane Residence - Exterior

Renee goes up on the roof to check on Kate who has calmed down. Renee knows that Kate is a good person and she would never purposefully abandon her sister. She is not at fault for Beth’s decisions. The two kiss. Renee points out that one thing is clear, she can’t do this alone. Kate begrudgingly agrees and says that if Renee had not fired on the Royal Flush, Kate might have died. Renee says that she had not fired as she had not been able to get a good shot. The two ponder that.

Kate Kane Residence - Interior

Renee leads Kate back downstairs and fills her in on what was stolen. Renee remarks that she just did the work of several warrants via the Batcomputer. That feels strange. They scroll through the list of stolen items. Follow the White Rabbit. Kate spots something. A quantum tunneling device. Perfect for a flashy criminal outfit and it fits the Wonderland theme perfectly. They bring up the specifications for the device and find that it needs a large diamond in order to work. They search a database of Gotham jewels. They locate a bank with the proper jewel on the corner of March Street and O’Hare Avenue. The March Hare. It would be irresistible.

Moldoff-Hamilton Diamond Exchange - Interior

Alice leads the way into the place. Guards charge the gang but they easily take them out. Alice insists that they get the diamond they came for before the crooks touch anything else. Alice leads the way toward the vault. Ace accesses a console and hacks in. After some tense moments, the vault opens and Alice leads the way inside with a grin. She picks up the diamond. She notices that King and Queen have wandered away and are looking at some necklaces. She frowns.

Two smoke bombs land and start filling the space. Before King and Queen can react, a security gate comes down and traps them. Ace and Jack are hit with stun guns. Batwoman and Renee step out of the shadows. The gang is told to give up. Instead, 10 goes after Renee and Alice and Batwoman match up. The combat is hot and heavy. 10’s immense size and strength keeps Renee moving. Batwoman and Alice are evenly matched in martial arts. Alice is a little dirtier but Batwoman is a little more skilled.

Ace manages to get back to their tablet and releases King and Queen. Renee is caught in a three-to-one matchup and is thrown against a wall by 10. Batwoman looks toward her girlfriend and gets sucker-punched by Alice. Alice pulls out a gun and aims at Renee and Batwoman moves to defend her. A security gate comes down, trapping Batwoman and Renee. The Royal Flush Gang gloats as Alice calmly picks the diamond back up. Batwoman calls out to Beth and asks how she could do this.

Alice: "'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"

As Batwoman struggles to open the gate, Alice relates her story as we see her flashback. When the car crash happened and the car flipped, she saw her mother die. As she tried to crawl through the wreckage to find her sister, she passed out. When she woke up, she had been taken by the Church of Crime. The Church baptized her anew and she became Alice, a stranger in a strange land. The Church killed Beth and she could never forgive them for that. She made some new friends and burned the church down. She lost those friends but now she has new friends. Alice is sorry that she is not who Batwoman came looking for but she thinks that Batwoman will be fun to play with. Alice leaves with the Royal Flush Gang who grab up a lot of jewels.

Batwoman is able to activate a cutting torch and when the police arrive, Renee and Batwoman are gone.

Kate Kane Residence - Interior

The doorbell is ringing and Kate rushes to the door wearing a towel. She opens the door and it is the FBI investigator. Kate apologizes as she was in the shower. The FBI investigator just wanted to check-in. Kate smiles and they both know that the FBI is checking whether Kate is Alice. Renee comes out of the bathroom also wearing a towel. The investigator chides Renee for making bad choices with her leave of absence. Renee says that her girlfriend is innocent. The agent says that if she is really innocent then Kate would not mind wearing an ankle bracelet. Just then, the investigator gets a text and asks to turn on the news.

An Undisclosed Location - Interior

Alice has hijacked the airwaves to deliver her own address, flanked by the Royal Flush Gang. She crows about her successes so far and that Batwoman can’t seem to touch her. She and the Royal Flush Gang are going all the way to the top. She says that she used to have a twin sister and she used to be part of one of the most famous families in Gotham. That’s all over. She has been reborn and Alice is going to carry on the proud Gotham tradition of proving that “we’re all mad here”. Old Gotham will burn and this new, strange Gotham will rise.

Royal Flush Gang Headquarters - Interior

The gang protests that they are not in this to get famous, they are in this to get rich. Alice shows off the quantum tunneling device and they are back on board. With it, they can into any vault in the world. Alice says why go for measly vaults when they can go for the biggest prize in Gotham? The biggest name in Gotham.

Kate Kane Residence - Exterior

Back on the roof, Renee is applying an ice pack to a huge bruise on Kate’s side. Renee asks if Kate wants to talk about Beth. Kate says no but that she will anyway. She has to. She almost had Beth back. Her parents are gone. She has Bruce but it’s different. Renee says it’s alright to grieve. They just need to catch Alice. If they do, maybe Beth comes back, or maybe not. All they can do is try. In the meantime, Renee is there for her. Kate remarks that she usually has to ice herself down and it’s nice to have the help. Kate suddenly realizes how they are going to succeed. They need help but Batman is still in Metropolis. Renee is not going to like plan H.

Quinn and Isley Residence - Interior

After some knocking, Renee and Batwoman enter the apartment. They take a few steps in and are entrapped by vines. They claim the door was open. Ivy: “Can we help you?” Harley and Ivy tease them for taking this long to come and beg for help. They make a big show of not wanting to help a superhero and a cop. They admit there are no hard feelings. Batwoman asks for their help with Alice and the Royal Flush Gang. Harley says that she always hated those guys. Ivy says that it would be good to stretch her legs. They are in.

Wayne Tower - Exterior

Alice and the Royal Flush Gang approach Wayne Tower. As they approach, an alarm sounds and heavy plates of metal slam down over the doorways. Alice delivers a speech about how this is where they burn down old Gotham and rule over a new Gotham built in their images. They will make the madness inside manifest in the city and they will use Wayne’s tech and wealth to do it. Alice activates the quantum tunneling device which will allow them to phase through the defenses into the tower itself. At this point, Batwoman and the others spring their plan into action. Batwoman tackles Alice and they tumble through the opening and into Wayne Tower. Batwoman throws a batarang behind them which damages and deactivates the machine. Renee, Harley, and Ivy attack the Royal Flush Gang.

Wayne Tower - Interior

The two sisters engage in a knock-down, drag-out fight where they really lay into each other as Wayne Tower’s security tries to target them. Not only is it a physical fight between two experts but they hurl words at each other too. Alice blames Kate for not looking for her. Kate blames Alice for not reaching out. Alice reveals that she knows that Batwoman is Kate (“how could I not know my own sister?”).

At first, she wanted to frame Kate and ruin her life, then she wanted to kill her, then she wanted to torture her, but now she doesn’t know what she wants. Kate offers that maybe Beth really isn’t dead after all and maybe she can come back. Alice declares that this is who she is. She is a criminal and Kate is a crimefighter and they will be locked in this dance until one of them decides to end it. Kate says that she will never kill her sister. Alice claims that this absolute cannot stand and one day, Kate will kill Alice or vice versa. Kate says they will get Beth help. Alice says that she does not need any help.

Wayne Tower - Exterior

The Royal Flush Gang teases Harley and Ivy for being out of the game, believing they have probably lost a step. With Renee’s help, the two former villains are able to prove that they still have it and are able to use their abilities for the side of good. Harley takes out Queen and King. Renee takes out Jack, and Ivy takes out 10 and easily wraps Ace up. Harley and Ivy vanish as the cops start to arrive, leaving Renee to explain things.

Wayne Tower - Interior

Eventually, Alice catches Batwoman off guard and straddles her sister with switchblade at hand. She starts the downward stabbing motion but stops at the last moment. Both sisters are confused as they look in each other’s eyes.

Kate: “Beth? I still love you.”

Alice shakes it off. Was there a tear in the corner of her eye? Alice goes to stab again and Batwoman sucker punches her, knocking her out. Batwoman breathes heavily and lays on her back for a bit as she takes it all in.

Wayne Tower - Exterior

Batwoman brings her sister out of Wayne Tower in handcuffs and hands her off to the police. She and Renee get a moment together to wonder if Alice will tell Kate’s secret. Kate has to hope she doesn’t. Kate says she’ll see Renee at home later and takes off.

Arkham Asylum - Interior

Kate visits her sister inside. Alice just grins at her, saying that she is thinking of all the things she is going to do to Kate when she gets out. Gotham will burn. Kate smiles and says that she will be there as long as it takes to get through to Beth. She hands Beth Harley’s business card. Therapy inside is nice but Harley has been where Alice is. She has a unique perspective. Alice just reiterates that she will be a terror when she escapes. Kate says she’ll be waiting.

The Joker's Daughter: Sleepaway Camp

Interior - Harleen Quinzel’s Car

Harley is driving through the countryside with Dina in the back of the car. Harley is trying to be smiley and Dina is upset with her arms folded. Harley apologizes (yet again) and urges Dina to get happy. It comes out in their argument that Harley is driving Dina to a summer camp for criminals. Dina does not want to be a criminal, she wants to be a hero. Harley points out that it’s common sense that it’s easier to fight crime if you understand criminals. Dina wants to learn from Harley, not some strangers.

Harley: “I didn’t really have a good criminal education. I picked up a lot of bad habits from he who will not be named. Plus, I’ve been out of the crime thing for a while now.”

Harley also reveals that she heard about this camp and wanted to check it out to make sure it won’t be a problem for her clients and Gotham at large. Dina questions whether this has anything to do with Batwoman showing up the other day. Harley quickly dismisses that. They need to be responsible vigilantes and check out threats and Dina needs basic combat training. Two birds, one stone. Nina reluctantly agrees to give it a chance.

Exterior - Camp

Harley and Dina walk up to a registration table. As they start to sign in, Larry Crock aka Sportsmaster walks up and greets Harley. They had met once or twice previously. Larry introduces his daughter Artemis who sizes Dina up. Harley introduces Dina as Dina Quinzel which gives Dina pause. Dina follows along by calling Harley ‘mom’ which almost brings a tear to Harley’s eye. Harley leaves Dina behind, telling her to “make good choices”.

Interior - Cabin

Dina is introduced to her cabin and snubbed by a lot of her cabinmates. Two who don’t immediately avoid her are Heather Malone, daughter of Matches Malone, and Stephanie Brown, daughter of Cluemaster. They inform Dina that since she came in through Harley, she’s connected to Joker. Anything and anyone connected to The Joker is too scary to deal with. Heather and Stephanie are not afraid. Heather claims to be too tough and Stephanie has a good feeling about Dina. All three girls are new to the camp.

Exterior- Cabins

Muster is called and all of the cabins assemble in front of the flagpole. This gives Heather an opportunity to point out various notable campers and counselors. Dina questions how Heather knows all of this despite also being new but Heather claims that she just did her homework well. As camp director, Tigress lays out the origin of the camp three years prior. This is a place to train the next generation of non-powered criminals. The camp is made possible through both tuition and donations from several criminal organizations worldwide. Because of superheroes, criminals have to up their game and that is what this camp is about. The work they do will be difficult but it will be rewarding and he promises results in exchange for effort. He also recognizes returning campers who are back once again to hone their skills.

Interior - Dining Hall

The welcome dinner is in full swing with tables forming based on a strict hierarchy. The more famous your parents might be, the more likely you find yourself at a great table.

The popular table is comprised of Artemis Crock (daughter of Sporstmaster and Tigress), Vincenzo Falcone (grandson of Carmine Falcone), Victoria Mandragora (Granddaughter of Stefano Mandragora), Owen Mercer (Son of Captain Boomerang), and Damian Al Ghul (Grandson of R’as Al Ghul and heir to the League of Shadows).

Near the end of the night, Artemis makes a beeline for Dina and proceeds to dump a whole bottle of soda on her. Dina is shocked and then furious but listens when Heather and Steph urge her to control her temper. Artemis dares Dina to hit her, getting in Dina’s face. She explicitly admits to trying to provoke Dina so she can get thrown out of camp like the trash everyone thinks she is. When Dina does not rise to the bait, Artemis and her crew taunt her further and they throw cream pies which manage to hit Heather and Steph as well. Steph and Heather drag Dina out of the dining room.

Exterior - Camp Grounds

Artemis is walking with her group satisfied with the work she has done and sure that Dina will drop out. Her parents are standing in her way and her crew stops in their tracks. They want to talk to her in the office. Now. Artemis stares them down for a moment but waves off her crew. Sportsmaster takes a moment to acknowledge Damian Al Ghul and respect for his grandfather before they go. Tigress and Sportsmaster lead their daughter toward the office.

Interior - Showers

The three girls clean off and then chat as they get dressed. Dina admits that she did not want to come to camp but now she will not allow herself to be kicked out. The three resolve to form ranks against Artemis’ crew. Steph also tells the others that she actually hates her father and considers him a loser. She’s resolved to do better than he ever could. Heather mentions that her dad is actually a pretty good guy … for a gangster.

Interior - Camp Office

Sportsmaster and Tigress tell Artemis to have a seat. They lecture her for causing a scene in the dining hall and picking on a paying camper. Artemis counters that she is doing the camp a favor by taking out the trash. They do not need Dina’s madness here. Tigress tells her that they did their research and they should trust that they know what’s best. Being the best is important but teamwork is also important. Tigress and Sportsmaster were part of the Injustice Society and had way more success as a team. On top of that, non-powered criminals need a leg up and need to hang together. That is what the faculty of the camp are focused on. Artemis should ignore Dina and focus on being the best she can be. That is how she will earn her legacy. Artemis reluctantly agrees. She promises that she will be the best.

Montage - Camp Activities

We see Dina and the girls participating in various camp activities like sports, lockpicking, breaking and entering, gunplay, and others. Throughout, they sometimes clash with Artemis’ crew. Dina struggles but shows her determination to keep going. Artemis’ crew constantly cheats and sabotages Dina’s crew but they persevere.

Exterior - The Tech Center

Stephanie is excited to engage in the tech activities while Heather is less than enthused. Heather’s dad always relied on his strength and wits. Stephanie tries to convince her that she needs to know how to do some stuff in a pinch. Dina is curious. Heather relents and agrees to at least check it out.

Interior - The Tech Center

The three girls enter and the place is eerily silent except for the hum of machinery and servers. They hear somebody mumbling almost to themselves that they are “only at 20 percent so far”. They are startled by the emergence of The Thinker who has replaced most of his parts with machine parts. The girls are wary but intrigued. Stephanie met The Thinker once through her dad. There is a prolonged flash which has them seeing spots for a few moments but they shake it off.

Heather and Stephanie debate the use of gadgets with Heather not seeing much use in them. Dina has friends who use gadgets so they can’t be completely useless. Heather points out that The Joker used plenty of gadgets. She immediately apologizes if that was a sore spot for Dina. Dina replies that she is as over the whole Joker thing as she is going to be. It’s just everybody else who isn’t over it. Dina does mention that she thought Joker might be her father which gets some surprised looks.

The Thinker apologizes for interrupting but says that the only technology most campers are interested in is guns. But, technology is only as effective as the person who uses it and the person who designs it. They should keep that in mind and feel free to return anytime.

Exterior - Training Grounds

Artemis and her crew are hanging out in the outdoor martial arts training grounds. Artemis is pumped while her crew are set on relaxing. Artemis wants to keep training but she seems to be alone in this. She specifically challenges Damian who claims that he does not need further training as he is heir of the Demon’s Head. Artemis insinuates that he is just scared of her. She will soon inherit the title of Tigress from her mother. She is at the top of her game and she is untouchable. She is able to bait Damian into sparring with her. It is clear that she is pushing herself hard and maybe too hard all to earn her parents’ but especially her mother’s approval. Damian is surprised that he actually has trouble beating Artemis. The two match each other in different martial arts and Artemis ends up making Damian tap out by hyper-extending his shoulder around a post.

Interior - Dina’s Cabin

Stephanie wakes Dina up and says that Heather is missing. Stephanie insists that they go looking for her and Dina rubs her eyes and agrees. These two girls have been there for her so far. They head out together.

Interior - Camp Office

Tigress is working on some paperwork at her desk when Sportsmaster comes in and sets a glass of wine on her desk. He urges her to come to bed and give it a rest for the night. She asks if he has read any of the teacher reports about campers with erratic behavior. Sportsmaster thinks it is just kids being weird and kids are weird. Paula shakes her head, thinking something is wrong but she cannot figure it out yet.

Exterior - Campgrounds

Dina and Stephanie are walking around looking for Heather when they spot two campers standing stock still and staring into infinity. When Stephanie steps on twig, the campers are alerted in perfect synchronicity and charge toward the sound. The girls do not know what is going on but their instinct says run so they run. They lead the campers through the woods and more campers join in the chase. Stephanie had stolen some gadgets from the Tech Center and she uses them to slow their speedy pursuers. The pursuit ends with a flashbang and the campers finding that Dina and Stephanie have disappeared.

Exterior - Tech Center

We see a tight shot of Heather and Damian from behind as they look in through the window at the Tech Center. Inside, The Thinker is talking to somebody as he says that neural scans are proceeding as planned and the first units are already up and about. Suddenly, a hand grabs both of their shoulders. They turn around and gasp before the little scene cuts.

Interior - Dina’s Cabin

Stephanie and Dina are breathing hard as they rush back into the cabin. They look out the windows and confirm that they are not still being chased. They start to talk about it but the door opens and Heather is led in by a counselor. Before the counselor leaves, it is revealed that Heather was caught near the Tech Center with Damian Al Ghul. When they are alone, the girls are shocked that Heather is secretly dating Damian. Heather vehemently denies this but instead tries to tell them that something is wrong with the camp. She says that she has been getting weird readings from the Tech Center and tried to check it out. Stephanie briefly calls Heather out for pretending not to be interested in gadgets. Heather admits that she loves gadgets. She has always loved gadgets.

Dina and Stephanie tell Heather about being chased. Heather says that she and Damian saw them too but they figured the older campers were just on duty to keep watch on the younger campers. Still, something is wrong and they need to report it.

Exterior - Training Grounds

Dina and the girls approach Tigress and try to talk with her. Artemis calls them out saying that this is not a place for talking, it’s a place for fighting. Tigress reluctantly yet proudly agrees with her daughter. It will be Artemis versus Dina in the center ring. Dina forgets what they were doing and gladly accepts, she has been itching to get her hands on Artemis since day one. Heather and Damian share a brief look and Damian shakes his head.

Artemis is the aggressor in the fight with Dina constantly rocked back on her heels. However, Dina has learned quite a bit so far in the summer and she does not back down. She quickly proves that she can take a hit and keep going. Artemis is surprised as she was ready to wipe the floor with Dina and she falters slightly. Still, Dina is in a lot of trouble and she is quickly bruised and bloody. In desperation, Dina scoops up a bit of sand and throws it into Artemis’ eyes. This allows Dina to take Artemis off her feet with a mighty tackle. The fight is called in Dina’s favor although she is barely standing. Artemis complains that the fight did not count as Dina cheated. Her mother reminds her that there are no rules in battle. Artemis storms off with her entourage in tow.

After the fight, Dina starts to limp away to the nurse but Tigress stops her. She asks the girls what was so urgent. They talk around the fact that Stephanie and Dina were out of their cabin after hours but relay their concerns about the Tech Center and the counselor patrol. Tigress shares that she has her own concerns and will get back to them.

Interior - Camp Office

Artemis approaches her mother about Dina again and Tigress tries to get through to her daughter. It’s not enough to want to fight, you have to have a reason to fight. You have to stick to the mission. The criminals at camp may have to compete with each other when they are out in the world but the mission here is to lift each other up. “Do you know who else could not work well with others? The Joker.” Artemis is acting more like The Joker than the Joker’s own daughter. Artemis flips out at that and storms out but it is clear after she leaves that those words cut deep.

Interior - Camp Office

Tigress looks up from her desk as an unseen person enters her office. She asks the person why they are there that late. There is a sudden flash and Tigress screams as the screen fills with white.

Interior - Dining Hall

The girls approach Tigress at breakfast the next morning and ask her if she was able to investigate yet. She tells them that she looked into it and everything is fine. She trusts The Thinker as an old partner in crime. Sportsmaster agrees and the girls are weirded out by Tigress’ tone. She had seemed so gung ho about investigating the day before.

Artemis approaches Dina and it seems like she is being contrite but they are interrupted by Tigress. She states that if Dina and Artemis want to fight, they will settle it once and for all in a three-on-three fight in the woods. They will use everything they have learned to incapacitate the other team. At first, the girls don’t want to talk to fight each other but they talk themselves into it. They can settle things, clear the air, and move on.

Exterior - Woods

Dina, Heather, and Stephanie prepare for battle. They worry over their investigation but Dina says that they can get back to it after settling this fight once and for all. They ask if Heather can take out Damian and she can’t wait to wipe the smug look off of his face.

Exterior - Woods (Elsewhere)

Artemis’ team prepares for battle. Damian is curious about their third, Vincenzo Falcone who is oddly silent. Artemis urges Damian to get his game face on like Vincenzo. She wants to know that Damian will be able to take out Heather. Damian claims it will be no problem.

Exterior - Woods

We see the two teams sneak around the woods, trying to trip each other up. Finally, Stephanie swings a bo staff in a surprise attack against Vincenzo. The problem is that his head instantly flies off in a shower of sparks. The remaining five in the competition come out of hiding in astonishment. Artemis wonders what is going on but the girls say this is what they were trying to tell Tigress about. Damian also admits that he has been investigating the same thing.

Heather’s phone chirps and she looks at it. Another scan of the area has come through. There are five biological signs in their position and a huge concentration of biologicals underground at the Tech Center. Still, there is rustling in the woods nearby. They hide and observe more robot doubles of campers. They don’t have much time. They decide that Heather and Stephanie will head to the Tech Center to try and disable the robot double army. Dina, Artemis, and Damian will head to the middle of camp to create a distraction by fighting the robots. Heather and Damian say that they will join the others but they have to make a change.

Exterior - Cabins

Artemis and Dina have both gotten into their stuff and put on outfits. Artemis says that it’s about time that she became Tigress. She asks Dina what her name is going to be. She has earned a name. Dina reveals herself as Jester. Damian shows up and it is revealed that he is Robin. Artemis is skeptical about teaming with a hero but Dina declares herself to be a hero too. Artemis can walk away but she will be shown up by Dina if she does. Artemis agrees to work with them. Robot campers start to appear and the three start to fight.

Exterior - Tech Center

Stephanie is waiting, the only one without a costume. She turns around and sees Batgirl. She puts two and two together and realizes that Heather is Batgirl. Batgirl asks if Stephanie is willing to team up. Stephanie says that as long as they both still like gadgets, they can get along for now. They move to sneak into the Tech Center. They briefly see the robotic Thinker talking in a video chat with the real Thinker who orders his duplicate to take out the teens and right the ship.

Interior - Tech Center and Exterior - Cabins

We cut back and forth between the all out melee near the cabins and the two girls taking on The Thinker. The girls are able to disable the Thinker and move to disrupt his machinery.

Exterior - Cabins

The robotic versions of Tigress and Sportsmaster appear and Artemis is ready to take on her mother. She has issues to work out. Damian takes on Sportsmaster. Artemis is able to take Tigress down and smashes her face over and over. Damian and Dina work together to take out the sturdy Sportsmaster (who is sporting a very Jason-esque hockey mask). Dina pulls Artemis off of her not-mother just as more campers start to swarm.

Interior - Tech Center

Batgirl and Stephanie are able to shut down the robots and block the real Thinker’s access with a cooperative hacking job.

Exterior - Cabins

The robots start to fall where they were standing and Dina, Artemis, and Damian head for the tech center.

Interior - Tech Center

For a moment, Batgirl is tempted by having all of the neural scans of many criminals and potential criminals at hand. Ultimately, she decides that it is unethical and deletes the data much to Stephanie’s approval. However, Batgirl does save her own scan onto a hard drive which she attaches to her utility belt. Stephanie is able to confirm that none of the scans were sent to the real Thinker and were stored locally to help program the robot duplicates.

The others arrive and the five of them free the prisoners from below the Tech Center. Tigress and Sportsmaster are very proud of their daughter and also thankful for the others assistance. They even begrudgingly thank Batgirl and Robin. As a courtesy, Batgirl tells Tigress that Batman and the police will be coming. Tigress agrees that they will escape while they can even though they technically did nothing wrong there at the camp.

Exterior - Camp

Artemis and Dina share a moment of respect and they wonder what will happen the next time they see each other. Stephanie gives her contact info to Batgirl and Dina. She offers no promises but she would like to still talk to them both. Maybe there is something to this hero stuff. The villains depart leaving Batgirl, Robin, and Jester.

Batgirl reveals that she was bluffing and the cops are not coming, only Batman. A few moments later, Harley’s car tears onto the campgrounds. Harley and Dina are reunited and Harley is impressed with the costume and wonders what the hell happened at the camp. Dina says she will tell her and Ivy all about it.

The Batmobile roars onto the campgrounds and a window slowly rolls down. We see the eyes of Batman in the darkened cockpit. Batgirl and Robin say that everybody already got away but the threat was neutralyzed. They are ready for a debriefing.

Harley waves happily to Batman. “Hi B-Man! Long time no see!” Batman only narrows his eyes in response but Batgirl reports that Dina was extremely helpful in saving the day. She will make a great hero. Robin begrudgingly agrees. Batgirl and Robin climb into the Batmobile, saying their goodbyes as they do. The Batmobile rolls toward the Tech Center.

Harley and Dina smile at each other and walk toward Harley’s car. Dina is even more at peace with who she is.
