Horror Movies

Post by WolfofWords »

I watch horror movies all year long but I usually kick it into gear right about now. This is more or less what I'm planning on watching in the next six weeks.

The Lost Boys was a classic; Vamp was terrible -- CrazyCraftLady and I walked out of it.

The Dead Don't Die was great, but be aware that it's a Jim Jarmusch picture and he seems to be an acquired taste. KikisIslandLife and I were laughing our heads off through it, but we were pretty much the only ones in the theater laughing at all. It just fell flat with everyone else. You have to have your mind twisted in a certain fashion to enjoy it.

Vamp was that bad, huh? I might rethink it since I had it planned for the actual day of Halloween.

Yes, it was that bad. Grace Jones was the reason we went to watch it, and they really gave her nothing to work with. She was scantily clad and growling and not in an interesting way.

Dang. That was my entire reason for picking it. I'll pick another vampire movie to put in its place.

I assume you've seen Interview and the original Buffy movie. How about John carperter's Vampires? Vampires: Los Muertos starring Jon Bon Jovi?

I remembered that Ganja and Hess is a vampire movie so I'll use that. Now I have two slots open, though.

Are you looking for horror or camp or anything goes?

Also my old roomie but Buffy the Vampire Layer (XXX) for the chuckle. It was as bad as one would have expected
