A central bank digital currency?
I don't even know what they're attempting to do, here. It doesn't seem to make sense. This wouldn't be the USD but a new complimentary currency which operates like Bitcoin but would be regulated by a central bank, thereby eliminating the exact point of BTC or any other digital specie...I mean, you aren't going to eliminate them this way. So why this? They're trying to open a speculation market? Trying to keep the dollar from speculation pressures? Freak out a bunch of gold bug paleocons unnecessarily?
