Hey everyone,

This is BaseballGOAT from the OOTP... thought I'd pop in and see if there is anyone here that like me didn't like seeing what happened to OOTP over the last couple months.

I'd already been working on a project that is a labor of love to me over the last couple versions of the game.

That's a full world with a complete NCAA division 1 feeder. Meaning every team filled with real players. I've done 8 or 9 conferences already. Retouching those teams currently ro find new players that are in the OOTP24 database. When they release the roster updates around the draft I'll gain more players. Eventually I'll be doing some ranking on my own I'm sure but for now I'm just using their ratings.

The world set up also includes all the major international leagues. Along with all the major world tournaments. There are winter leagues galore along with college summer leagues.

I've got logos, jerseys and caps for roughly 75% of all teams.

I need to add because all the bullshit around the NPB and now all non licensed leagues removed, I've decided to leave this in OOTP23 and concentrate on 2022 rosters. Less build from scratch work needed this way.

If something like this interests you and you desire to help? I need researchers for certain leagues and if you have OOTP23 and have not patched beyond the scramble feature being added for the NPB I could use help adding players. Also n3ed someone who can make graphics for OOTP.

I've got an idea I've been toying with to allow more people to help edit.... that's to set the file up as an online league and make anyone interested a conmish so have access to the editor.

Hopefully someone seea this and has an Interest in a world like this and might want to help. I would love to have this done and shared with others sooner rather than later.

Tomorrow when I'm up and on the computer, I'll add a full list of all leagues in the game.

I am definitely here for all of this, and I will almost certainly need to buy a much beefier gaming machine because this will melt the processor in this one within seconds.

I would be willing to help, but don't really have a clue how. Clearly you are getting a lot of sources for stats and the like...what I don't know is how to translate these into ratings, particularly the subjective ones such as fielding.

Now the question is...is this in addition to the summer expansion we've been told to expect (in the other thread), or is this something different?

So ill piggyback off that by working that into this 2023 mod so as to have the NPB for sure.

PC. My to-do list is threatening to gain sentience and nonconsentually dominate me , but given that this is a long-term project, I should be able to help at least some. This is a huge thing in terms of making this game worth it, so I would feel very bad if I wasn't able to contribute somehow.

Current patch is 23.9 build 102. Not sure what it is on my laptop, but I'll find out in a bit.

Progress has been slow the last few days, but have managed to get multiple College teams done still. Did San Diego state Ann University of San Diego today. Each is only missing a handful of players each.
