plays, musicals, or ballets?

Post by Nebulous »

Are plays, musicals, or ballets popular in your country?

How often do you go to watch one of these types of performances?

Well...musicals are plays, really. And I did go to a play last night. Wasn't a musical, but had some incidental music to it.

Here in the US plays/musicals are huge. I mean, we have Broadway. I used to work in theater professionally.

Ballet classes are very popular for young people and there are ballet troupes. Maybe not as big as Europe and Russia but fairly big.
